Private Training

Have you ever had a teacher who was super encouraging, positive, and grounding to be around? If you didn’t understand a concept, maybe that teacher offered different perspectives until you got it. Learning and trying new things felt safe and fun. In contrast, we have all had impatient teachers who became frustrated easily with our confusion and distraction, and who were quick to reprimand us.
As social animals, dogs learn in similar ways to people. When we consider and connect to our dogs’ needs and make sure we are clear in what we are asking, we are better teachers. The path to a well-behaved dog starts with a positive relationship between the handler and the dog.
By understanding how our dogs view the world, learning the meaning of their body language, and proactively guiding our dogs through challenging situations (from the dog’s perspective), we positively influence our dogs to make choices aligned with our desires.
Learn to join your dog in their world while being able to guide them through ours.

What to expect...
Private training sessions are $150 for 60-90 minutes. There is a $45 travel fee if you are outside of our service area. After each session you will receive a custom recap of what skills you learned specific to your dog. You can also contact me for immediate questions in between sessions. I encourage most clients to schedule sessions between 1-2 weeks apart for consistent results.
